3G! Wow, what a revolutionary feature! Obviously they didn't put it in the first iPad since the technology definitely wasn't available. Oh Apple - always at the edge of technology, always innovating! Steve Jobs is once again proven himself as iGod.
@paul34 Is this seriously the first time you've heard of this? This isn't a "Second" iPad. There were two versions. Always. Since he announced the iPad. Jesus..
Not quite. One shipped originally, and then there's this one that is being sold as a product different enough to be shipped separately with a primary differentiating factor, 3G. A feature which was very much so available with the first set of iPads that went out, but was never implemented.
@paul34 What are you talking about? Yes, it was available. But they needed FCC clearance and AT&T to be ready and more time to make enough of both versions. The WiFi one is completely sold out within a day at stores. Just think of how it would be like if it was skewed with two differen versions at launch. So many people (including myself) wanted to wait for 3G. If they were both out on April 3, the demand would've been even crazier!
Anyway...i thought it was "Sarcasm"? You just found your argument sinking and are trying desperately to save yourself -_-
During his WWDC keynote, Steve Jobs touted iCloud as a service that will sync many of your Apple devices, for free. Macs, iPhones, iPads, and even Windows computers can synchronize documents, contacts, calendar appointments, and other data.

??? Obviously they couldn't make enough Wifi iPads,.... why would you want them to fracture their supply even more?
Apple has been shipping 3G devices for years now, your little rant is just braindead.
