ASUS Eee PC 1015P netbook hits the FCC
We already managed to go hands-on with ASUS' Eee PC 1015P netbook at CeBIT back in March, but the company has been relatively quiet about it since then, and hasn't even offered so much as a hint of a release date. It looks like that could now be coming sooner rather than later, however, as the netbook has just passed through the FCC and left with its seal of approval. In case you missed it, the netbook itself is part of ASUS' Seashell line, and packs a 10.1-inch screen, an Atom N450 processor and, perhaps most notably, a promised 14 hours of battery life -- keyword "promised."

Sweet, although I'm more interested in the 1201pn. I already have one that's 10 inches and it's just too small for me............that's what she said...
just curious... how do you manage to find these?
@brettlewis Theres probably enthusiasts who dig through FCC filings to find new hardware, then they send it to engadget
I hope it has a broadcom crystal hd as well.... or maybe some kind of ion2-optimus system? cause ion murders netbook battery life, if they could get ion with 10+ hours of battery life, that would be pretty sweet.
Asus has been awesome at creating solutions that provide superior batter life. I don't really get the "key word promised" remark. It may be a bit lower with normal usage patterns, but several asus products have lived up to the promised battery life. I don't get the remark
ASUS screens are horrible. Just complete cheap junk.
I wouldn't even consider one until they improved their LCD quality.
