AT&T has finally sent out the rundown on when (and for how much) its customers will be able to saddle themselves with a
Pre Plus and matching two-year contract, and the wait isn't a long one: it launches this coming Sunday, May 16,
just as we'd expected. It'll run $149.99 on contract after rebate -- the same that Sprint is charging for the Pre, and $100 more than Verizon is charging for its own Pre Plus -- but buyers will be getting a free
Touchstone charging dock along with their purchase "for a limited time" when the phone is picked up in a corporate-owned store. There's no word on the
Pixi Plus yet, but hey, at least this gets Palm back on the network after an extended vacation. No word on a
free mobile hotspot add-on, but hope springs eternal, we suppose.
@ToniCipriani $399? Are you sure? That's not bad at all, considering the no-contract price of the Pre with Verizon is $599. That's a good deal! And is the service really unlocks it?
@pika2000 Plenty of successful reports here:

And confirmed unlock works on SFR Pre Plus, and since original unlock was tested on an O2 Pre and works on a Telcel, it's safe to assume it'll unlock AT&T as well.
Pretty expensive but still great for people who are stuck on AT&T but can't wait to dump their crappy fruit phones.
You know a study said apprx 44% of women would not date a man that owned a Palm Pre. Just thouht I'd throw that out there.
Interesting thing about this story, Palm now how devices on the three largest carriers and they're all fairly the same. If they release a hardware refresh later this year, say around Sept-Nov with some nice new stuff, and hard launch on multiple carriers, they might be poised for huge growth. Hopefully WebOS 2.0 delivers a hurricane.
Its pretty funny to know at&t still doesnt have an android device....in fear or out selling apple....but to get a palm pre plus for 149!!! Are they flippn CRAZY!
They should make it cheaper and forget the stupid TouchStone. The free wifi thing is no big deal either way, as unlike the iPhone, there's an app for that.
sold, Im getting extra touchstone from the shack
