Google I/O recap: more web than you can shake a frozen dessert at
Whew, Google really knows how to pack it in. Two days of Google I/O and we've got enough info on the future of the web, phone, and television to write a couple sci-fi novels and retire. Of course, we aren't just bystanders here: we've also gotten our hands on the latest version of Android (2.2, codenamed Froyo) and put its through its speedy paces. You can catch up on all the action below.

^^^Sounds like an apple fanboy^^^
Google is far more intelligent than Apple and are an extremely profitable company. Considering android phones have just beat out the iphone in the US, I would say that people do care. Apple is going to fail because they are becoming more and more proprietary. Google so far is continuing to keep it's products open source. I will never buy another apple product again.

Google TV combines two commonly used consumer technologies, TV and search, into a can’t miss new product.
Think this will be as big as AT&T’s Picturephone, the darling breakout product of the 1964 World's Fair? How'd that one work out? :>)
