@N900 so there you go, me and N900 have officially renamed this Windows Compact 7... MSFT you can contact us for buying the rights to that name, thanks
Using .Net to build apps should negate any concerns regarding app fragmentation. I like the path MS is taking rather than using an os designed for a 4 inch screen. A tablet should do more than a phone but less than a PC. I would like to see a standard user interface across devices.
The N9 has arrived. What we can say from our first experience is that we're in the presence of a fantastically designed device with a gorgeous AMOLED screen and some highly responsive performance.

But change the damn name:
What OS does your tablet have?
"I have Android!"
"I have WebOS!"
"I have iPhone OS 4.0!"
"I have Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact 7..... why are you all staring?........"
@skyblaze windows EC7? maybe or Windows Slate 7 to go along with Phone 7?
@SteveyAyo It's all CE anyway, why not just call it CE?
@N900 i say just call it Windows Compact 7... the lady in the source link videos refers to it as that and i like how it sounded
@SteveyAyo That makes sense, and sounds more universal towards their OS, mobile and light OS. W7, WP7 and WC7

@skyblaze Who names their products?
Jeez man.
Also, why not scale an OS for mobile and tablets like Apple and Google are doing.
Building apps for Win 7, Windows Phone 7 and this is too much.
