Conflipper is a
regular in the underworld of HTC ROM cooking. So when he tweets about unreleased devices and their respective carrier support you really outta listen. First up is the HTC
Scorpion (aka, Olympian) which he claims is going to Verizon and Bell Mobility -- a device previously rumored to be packing Froyo with WiMax and a 1.5GHz Snapdragon whipped topping. Conflipper also claims to have the inside scoop on a quartet of Windows Phone 7 devices and their respective North American launch partners: the HTC Spark_W (Bell Mobility and Verizon), HTC Gold_W (Sprint), HTC Shubert (Telus), and the HTC
Mondrian (Telus, Rogers and AT&T). Note that the "_W" in those handsets signifies a worldphone device with dual-mode CDMA and GSM radios. And in the immortal words of Klaus Meine, "Time, it needs time." So true.
@AttractiveDoorHinge and it was the same story when the HD2 came out, the EVO was announced just before the HD2 release date. There will always be something bigger and better in the pipeline. Get something your happy with now, or you'll be constantly sitting on the sidelines waiting for the next big thing
seems more likely that this is the touch pro 3, considering the TP2 was a worldphone (on sprint at least) being the WM flagship
Did I just read that right? A WiMax handset headed to Verizon? Well....now I'm really confused.
Am I the only one who thinks Qualcomm's naming scheme is very similar to AMD's? Scorpions... Dragons...
I'm holding out for the HTC Whitesnake
This picture constantly cracks me up. Win.
windows 7 + 1.3 snap dragon = my next phone
android + tegra 2 = my first tablet
Holy ****. That's almost twice as fast as the new iPhone that only has a 800 MHz A4 (clocked down from 1GHz).
Plus the new HTC devices are rumored to have 512MB and 712MB RAM and 1080i video recording cam...
And Once again T-Mobile USA has Nothing...................Methinks Very Soon I and many others will be breaking our contracts unless we get some decent phones. I'm tired of the crappy teen-bopper phones that we get and guess what? Teeny-boppers think they suck too. I hope that New CEO from DT does something and something soon. This stratgy of the MyTouch-Slide as their summer phone Versus the Evo(Sprint), Incredible(Verizon) and iPhone 4G(Deathstar and the Commie) equal MAJOR and EPIC FAIL all written into one.
HTC Evo 4G is now available on Sprint, read all the details on :

btw, this is not spam, take care.
LOL @ that pic
Can someone explain to me why htc releases 3 or 4 smartphones at a time that are basically the same with tiny spec differences here and there? Not only does it create customer confusion, it has to be inefficient from a manufacturing standpoint.
No love for T-Mobile? :(
The faster the better! My only real concern is with all this technological advancement on the Mobile phone what good is it if there is no reception. The amount of time spent trying to connect to the net can be so frustrating and it is here the mobile networks let the mobile phones down. The networks have to up their game and ensure total coverage and increased download speeds.
Oh man the Mondrian still owns my heart
Still Loving U HTC
How would this 1.5 Ghz chip compare to the Tegra 2? Anyone care to speculate?

@amjadbut go away... you cant even spam properly
Not that this will even be read, but it would surprise me if HTC didn't release something for Verizon this fall, given their release history:
QWERTY
HTC Harrier - November 2004
HTC Apache - February 2006 (odd delays)
HTC Titan - December 2007
HTC Raphael - November 2008
HTC Rhodium - September 2009
Non-QWERTY
HTC Vogue - April 2008
HTC Diamond - April 2009
HTC Droid Incredible - April 2010
@ckeegan Seems like a pretty obvious pattern to me.
