You'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between a 320 ppi display at 3.5 inches and a 250 ppi display at 4 inches...Of course, an IPS panel or AMOLED panel does make a difference, but just on the pixel per inch basis at such a small size, the difference between 200 to 300 is barely noticable.

It's resolution will be obsolete in 4 days, so I reckon they need to bump up to to a 300+ dpi display.
