Motorola Droid X stars in its clearest off-the-cuff preview yet (update: comparison shots!)
Let's be honest, we've seen more Droid X / Xtreme / Shadow spy shots than we can keep track of at this point, but for the latest batch, Mr. Blurrycam must've forgot his trademark blur filter and delivered us the cleanest images yet -- for shame, we know. Here's what the current owners of the super-secret phone, Gadget University, are claiming: 4.3-inch screen (it seems to jump between 4.3 and 4.1, depending on whom you ask), 1GHz Snapdragon processor, HDMI out, HD video recording, Android 2.1 with a "new version of Motoblur" (Ninjablur, you say?), and hardware navigation buttons. The Verizon logo is again unmistakably clear, and according to the site's "inside information," the Droid X (as the Model number says) is coming next month, with training beginning at the end of this month.
[Thanks, Sean]
Update: And here it is alongside some of its contemporaries. Thanks, Jeremey!

What's up with the blunt splitting fingernails? It's called nail clippers or at least a manicure homeboy.
i like the ui skin.... no more pastel colors.... :o
They dumped the soft buttons? Sweet!
has flash APIs?
to port this cool app: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCI11RBSUlo
why isn't Android 2.2 but 2.1 , why ?
@Vaanres Why isn't your English makes any sense?
@rhomaion I'm sorry, I don't speak Monkey (Series of unfortunate events)
Xenon Flash! ...and Adobe Flash!
@HPe Having Adobe put Flash on Android is a big two thumbs down for me. Flash sucks.
I'm getting this one!!!!!
@ big dick Moto may be an American company but I doubt they manufacture here in the states. I notice you don't seem to have the answer either. crApple is American but they manufacture in China.
I'd buy one if only it ran stock Android. I will NEVER ever buy a phone with UI overlay that cannot be easily uninstalled. Take note, Motorola, HTC.
I guess this is going to be the phone that I pick up as I am still heart broken that the iPhone is still stuck on AT&T.
whooo yayyy another new "better" phone, another phone for everyone to either bash and say the EVO 4G (or any phone) is better, or say it's "so gonna kill the iPhone". honestly at this point I don't care what all of your phones do, they do what YOU want them to do, my phone does what I want it to do, so really people just chill and stop hattin' and enjoy what you have, don't worry what other people want
I'll admit, its a nice phone, looks pretty good too, and probably is faster than others. and I would like one... I'd like any smart phone, I'm stuck with my Samsung Gravity :( personally I would like the iPhone 4 though. thats just me though cause it appeals to me.
this is a pretty sleek phone though. very sexy. although the funky shape to the back just isn't my style, and the buttons, come on, less breakable parts maybe?
thats all folks thanks lol.
"Motorola, Verizon, Google". Put a couple more stickers on this thing ("8MP Motoblur camera", "Tactical Tekbrite Display", "30FPS GUI-CAP") and the mess that is Android will become the true successor to the mess that is Windows.

I really wish that more verizon phones would have a forward facing camera soo that I could use fring to skype my family on the road. Either way though this thing its making me seriously consider switching to verizon from at&t.
