Update: And the hits keep coming: GameStop is now listing a $299 "Arcade Bundle" which obviously pairs a $149 Kinect with the now-$149 Arcade, as well as a $399 Elite bundle that seems to pair a $149 Kinect with the older Elite, which is now $249. So where's the bundle with the hot new 250GB Stealthbox? And are these the real prices? We'll have to wait and see.
Update 2: And now Walmart's confirming the November 4th ship date and $149 MSRP. C'mon Microsoft, what are you waiting for?

One of the other posts mentions the older 360s are going to be called "Xbox 360 Original", and the new ones will just be "Xbox 360". Is it possible the Kinect bundles are for the new models, and not the old ones? Given what we know about the price points, that would make a lot more sense. You essentially save $50 by buying the bundle instead of separate. My guess is that by November, the Original models won't even be available any more.
actually makes no sense... elite must just be a kinect and slim i guess
Am I the only one who feels like I got burned on the first camera add-on? They touted that the camera would be implemented in games such as putting our faces in-game & using gesture-like controls. M.S. & just about every developers barely supported it. This camera seems like a simple round-2. I'll just wait for the support to come to the games first before I take the plunge again
That's actually a pretty good price. $400 ish bucks. That'll translate to roughly $700 in my country unless the jackasses here do some extreme markup (which they normally do).
My daughter will love that animal game. Though when she isn't looking I'm gonna try to kick one of those animals to see what happens. :)

$150 sucks, straight up. Too expensive to sell for something that may or may not get complete support. MS says they'll support it, developers say they will, but they said the same about the Vision Cam, and besides like ... the boxing game, nothing has come out that supports that. They'll have to come down in price.
Maybe I'm more enamored of new gadgets or maybe I'm just less concerned about dropping $150, but I'd buy it if it didn't ever do much more than control the menus and Netflix with gesture and voice. It's the price of 2.5 games and those only last, maybe, a week for the initial play-through. A way to remove the remote for one of my family's main media devices for the life of the console (and beyond since it's not built in) for the price of two games seems okay to me.
How do the phones fit into this?

So I can pay $100 for a bundle with the Move (which will cost $50), the PS Eye (which costs $40), and Sports Champions (which will cost $40), or I can spend $150 on this one camera, and play games that have absolutely no tactile feedback what-so-ever? This is a joke right?
