HyperMac Micro, Mini batteries get iPad / iPhone 4 charging support, yet more color options
We've already seen some HyperMac batteries updated to support iPad charging, and it looks like you can now also add the smaller HyperMac Micro and Mini batteries to the list -- they've not only been updated with iPad / iPhone 4 charging, but with no less than ten color options as well. Apart from those changes, however, the Micro and Mini remain the same as before, and pack capacities of 3600mAh and 7200mAh that should translate to about five and ten hours of iPad battery life, respectively. They also hang onto the same $89.95 and $119.95 list prices, but HyperMac is knocking $20 off each of those just for this launch. Full press release after the break.

Did they change the name too ?
@potretr
I want some of that purple stuff.
@KevOne That is not what she said.. Or maybe she did..
I love HyperMac's. Lifesavers.
@Tuan X
If you could put it inside the iPad, that would be pure win.
@Tuan X
Yes because a battery you could change yourself is just too technical for some people.
@fourthletter God you people are so fucking annoying.
@vqro
lol @ ur funny comment.
@Tuan X
"look, i deal with the goddamn customers so the engineers don't have to. can't you see i have people skills?! what the hell is wrong with you people!!"
@fourthletter
Loool
@fourthletter NO dumbass. I'd just rather not have to reboot my device to swap a battery.. especially if I may be in the middle of a task or game & my wall charger isn't with me, nearby, or an outlet isn't available.
if it doesn't come in bronzeberry frost or fuchsia, no dice.
Too bad they don't make one for the Mac Mini (need to power the Mini with a battery).
*but you cant buy white for a couple months
@infamous1 RACISTTTT!!!
Why do they put them in cheapo ebay 2.5" hard drive cases ?
They are ripping people off. I got a Sanyo battery 5000mah for 40 bucks.
That looks so much better than being able to swap out the internal battery.
@Matt da Brat
Just buy two iPads.

@Matt da Brat ... (to reiterate my earlier statement) I'd rather not have to reboot my device to swap a battery.. especially if I may be in the middle of a task or game & my wall charger isn't with me, nearby, or an outlet isn't available. This provides an attractive convenience.
If my elementry school memories serve me, you could power a lightbulb with a potato I wonder ipads could be powered the same way. This inspired the idea.
