its not confusing. The learning curve will be like 5-10 mins max. The ipad looks simple coz its just the iphone OS which every1 is already accustomed to.
@Amnak I think this is a joke but then again a lot of people don't know much about Linux here. Linux is where all the big guys like Apple and Microsoft get a lot of their ideas from. It's been able to do a 3D OS for about 6 years now. If you want to see epic install a Distro of Linux and get Compiz Fusion going. If you want to check out just what it can do follow this link here.
@Amnak I think whats confusing you, is the active strarscreen, its a thing that has yet to break on computer OSes. But the meny system is very easy to understand, your typical icon view seen long before iPad.
Sure, CompizFusion is a lot of fun and looks super cool. But I hope you don't mind that the MeeGo guys concentrate on functionality first in a pre-alpha version before they get to the customization. I think for this state it looks mighty cool already.
@SeeKo the tab looks amazing. I wrote my post response for another new post below of Zintinos. I just hit reply to the wrong person. He just said he never thought linux could look that beautiful. I was just showing him a video of linux. But as far as the slate goes it looks amazing. When I first saw the Iphone I thought it would be a pain to learn. The learning curve on this looks even simpler. I am totally psyched about this and holding off on buying a slate till this is released. It looks way nicer then an Ipad. I am surprised Nokia has been able to pull something like this off. I do think though if Apple was to take a shit people would glorify how beautiful and intuitive it was. I do have a love hate relationship with apple myself but I see them for what they are.
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
I think it looks pretty fluid a tad confuseing I think that simple is part of the allure of an iPad. Also looks solid for an alpha.
@Amnak pre-alpha :)
