All these windows phone 7a are crap gadget ready. Let's face it, windows 7 is the "Kia" of the mobile phone OS space; it's ok but no one takes notice of "ok."
@Plazmic Flame prototype shmototype. in regards to WP7 OS. A famous man once said, if you're not 1st, you're last. Microsoft, of all firms, should know this. IP4, 600k units in the 1st day. Let me take my last comment back. All of these WP7s are thepontiac aztec of the mobile phone market...
@rmorgens28 OK no one's said this right yet. Xerox invented the cpu GUI. And the reason why windows is bigger than mac OS is simply the developers. (cue Ballmer chants!)
@MaxF Yeah price was the big one. But as far as starting out on a platform, in the '90's we had Macs everywhere in my high school but only the typing lab had pc's. So I learned to use the Mac first. I still remember being in awe of how luscious the colors were on the Macs and PowerPC's. But instead, my family bought PC. I guess it was for the apps. Mom needed MS Publisher. I needed Doom. The PC was cheaper. Also, Apple computers were hard to find in stores.

Did you mean market? What market? Apple and MS aren't direct competitors, unless you count the Mac Office vs. iWork slugfest (I still need Excel for some things, but otherwise, Office is lame). iPod vs. Zune? Let's not go there. It's bad karma to speak ill of the dead.

@rmorgens28 you better apologize to KIA, have you seen KIA lately? They kick Toyota's and Honda's ass!!! The guy who is designing for KIA right now, was the designer for the original iconic Audi TT! You should compare to WP6 to TATA or something.

Macs had GUI OS before Microsoft. Reason why Win dominates Mac today is price and most people learned windows at work.
