Apple hiring iPhone antenna engineers for some reason
Three Apple job postings for iPhone / iPad antenna engineers to "Define and implement antenna system architecture to optimize the radiation performance for wireless portable devices." All three were posted on June 23rd, the same day that we started seeing widespread reporting of the left-handed reception issues. Coincidence?

Maybe Apple should just go into the Marketing business and forget computers and electronics all-together...
Hiring antenna engineers would have been a good idea prior to actually making the damn phone OMG!!!!!
Perhaps they should just license the radio technology from someone and not try to invent workarounds. Remember what one of the Nokia patent lawsuits was about? http://bit.ly/aZpx5I
Even with the antenna issue... the competition is still chasing Apple for an overall experience. AT&T doesn't help the iPhone since their coverage sucks... but... imagine if the iPhone wasn't in the market.
The smartphone industry would not be as competitive as it is right now!
holy shit.
Apple are cowboys.
ROFL...sad story

I'm beginning to think AT/T is getting lots of flak for issues that are sometimes Apple's fault (even for 3G & 3Gs models).
The guy field tested the iPhone 4 was so disappointed that he had to drink and got wasted. Then, he finally realized the right fucking thing to do is to left the damn phone at the bar and let someone else carrying out the burden instead of him...
Steve Jobs:
Want to make phonecalls? No problem! There's an app for... oh...
Maybe Apple should buy Motorola? The janitors at Mot probably know more about handset antenna design than the top RF guy at Apple.
Holy LOL!!!!!
Alriiiiight... on one hand you want to defend the iphone 4 because it's a beautiful object and on the other one, you gotta be laughing at this. I still can't believe Apple would release a product with such flaw... don't they test phones (before getting drunk and leaving them in bars)?

All this about the antenna problems being software issues is complete bullsh*t! There was even an engineer that predicted the problems 2 weeks before iPhone 4 was released. That was on engadget. Apple should provide bumper cases to those who bought iPhone 4s and got the problem.
