Firefox 4 Beta 1 now available for download
P.S. - Be warned that this may very well not work with your stable of add-ons right away, so we'd keep that stable 3.x.x build installed as a backup!

I love it even under XP, a lot faster.
just got it on both my desktop and my laptop.. it's a pretty stable beta release.. not bad. my add-ons don't work, but w/e.. The browser is great.
I love how in the feedback box, I try to write "Fitt's law" but Mozilla stops me, saying that "Fitt" is a rude word and asks me to be more constructive.
Looks a lot like opera
You're late to the party - the latest build is already beta 2.

Did Opera and Google Chrome have a baby?
many plugins are not compatible
It looks a lot like Chrome, the refresh button is basically identical and the button layout is too. That's fine though, I don't mind.
What I do mind is that there isn't a stop button...??? WTF??? It's just gone. There is back, forward, refresh and home, but no stop.
Also the new loading page clock animations are stupid IMO.
beta 2 is released
I just tried the new Opera for a few days.... Mozilla got some catching up 2 do.
A hybrid of Chrome and Opera, and no handy compatible plug-ins. A bit disappointed.
It's like Chrome, but not as good.
The once great ship is sinking. I lost my faith in firefox once they added their ridiculous theming support, it just made FF look god awful and screamed "we're losing market share so we're going the consumer route."
What happened to fast, clean, and efficient? You know, all the things the other browsers lacked? Chrome speed makes FF look like joke. We need to stop all the feature adding crap and get firefox back to it's roots.
I've been using 4 beta 1 since June 29th. Shouldn't this have been news then?
Better use the original Opera than this ugly mock-up!
Its nice and fast...
I don't like how they moved the F6 shortcut to select the tab and not the address bar.
Installed. Compared. Uninstalled.
