The Predator AG7750 is ready from a thermal and power standpoint to take on 3-way SLI graphics, the next generation in graphics technology. Outfitted with the NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX470 with NVIDIA® SLI, users can scale graphics performance by combining multiple NVIDIA graphics solutions in a 3-way SLI-certified motherboard. The motherboard has an installed GTX470 card and can accommodate up to two more. These advanced GPUs run simultaneously to deliver kickass, high-performance graphics playback. Fierce Quad Core Power Shreds Opponents
Outfitted for battle, the Aspire Predator AG7750 is power packed with an Intel® Core™ i7 920 quad-core processor that delivers the ultimate speed for gaming, including 3D as well as multitasking and other multimedia entertainment. It also increases energy efficiency by allowing near-zero power consumption for inactive cores.
Gamers will appreciate the 1TB(2) internal SATA hard drive. Adding further fuel to the fire are three additional easy-swap hard disk drive (HDD) cages, allowing up to a total of four Serial ATA 3 G/bs high-capacity hard disks to be added with up to 2TB(2) capacity per single drive for a total storage capacity of up to 8TB. Users can save game files, movies, music and more on the local disks, which can be removed for transport.
The Aspire Predator provides clear, heart pounding sound to ratchet up the excitement of gaming tourneys via high-definition 7.1-channel audio, Creative® THX® TruStudio PC™ and EAX® 5.0 technology.
A state-of-the-art, two-part liquid cooling system protects PC performance even during the fiercest matches, so gamers can confidently push their limits.
Radical Design Intimidates Rivals
Showcasing Acer's innovation, the dramatic orange and black desktop visually shouts power. The intimidating exterior boasts a mechanized front cover that can be raised up and over the front of the chassis to provide convenient access to a multi-card reader, USB and audio ports. The chassis is also covered by a rugged protective material and has a secure handle for transport.
Opening the case reveals the inner power of the Predator, including striking and highly dynamic mechanical elements and cool lighting effects, such as claw-like optical disc drive (ODD) doors, easy swap HDDs and red LED lighting. An illuminated door on the lower front of the chassis provides quick entry to the hard disks, simplifying upgrades.
Highly Scalable, Well-Connected

And I thought the new Antec cases were ugly :D
@The Shadow lol me too
All you're doing is paying for the case.
@xyrec Is it really about the case? The specs this computer has is beastly. I am not sure how much cheaper you could make it if you did it yourself.
@Sharuk Uh, you can build an i7 930 system with a GTX 470 and a MUCH better case for around $1000.
@xyrec Case is probably crap anyway.
@SarnGate
The acer predator cases are pretty good actually. They usually come with built w/c systems too, so although I agree I could build my own for less, 2000$ isn't as ridiculous as it sounds as good water cooled systems are rarely cheap.
@SarnGate really? When the precessor is going to run you at least 400 not to meantion ram not reasonable buddy
@SarnGate Uhh. Not sure where you're getting your parts from, but I just built a system on newegg with the same core hardware and it all came to $1507.89 before shipping. And I even used the cheapest parts available that'll still allow for proper operation. And to be honest, the CPU cooler could probably stand to be upgraded another $20.

I thought you had to buy a Mac to spend $2000 on a computer
@icepop77 Naw. i7 980X and SLI or CrossfireX will easily take you there
Man, I wish I had one of these.........
.....when I was 14.
@Landon Donovan
I thought most of the commenters on this site *were* 14.
@Smart People Play Tuba
im 12
That's hideous
Adrien Brody? Pffh. Okay, let's try this again . . .
GET TO DA CHOPPAH
@Smart People Play Tuba
GET DOOOOOOWN! AGAAAAAAAAAAAAIIINN!!!!
@Smart People Play Tuba
Ok, so at the end of the movie, are (spoilers) supposed to be the new "predators" then since they survived, or are they just stuck there? Predators usually reward those who survive.
@01
What the hell are you talking about? Everyone dies except Schwarzenegger. Duh!
Let's see, $250 for the GTX470, $250 for the i7, 12GB of no-name SDRAM, $250, $150-ish for mobo, $100 for PSU, $75 for memory, $10 for optical drive, $115 for a case... I can make an equivalent spec PC for $1200.
@chaddledee And where exactly are you finding a $10 optical drive?
@chaddledee
250 for the i7? The i7-930?? Who do you have stealing that and selling it to you for the low low? ...(cuz I want one too)
@chaddledee
Wait I'm thinking i7-980X.
@chaddledee Then, add $300 to that $1200 for Windows 7 home premium retail (you can't legally use the oem version unless you are going to sell it). Then, add $100 more for slightly better components, $50 for taxes, and $50 for cold cathodes and several fans. It makes the price go up to $1700, and the $300 difference is for acer to make profit. In the long run, it doesn't make THAT much of a difference- if you build your own, you have to put in effort to make everything work together, and to some that make be worth $300.
@marsel Fan included with CPU and case. I was talking tax included. The only thing you mentioned that warrants extra cost is Windows 7 Home Premium, which is $100. So $1300 then. Also, the prices I have mentioned are from retailers, who already have a fairly large profit margin. Acer are buying parts directly from manufacturers, so the cost for them to build it is probably half the cost for me to build it, so they already have a massive profit margin. This is a massive rip off.
@chaddledee I totally agree. And without the cheesy monolithic plastic case.
I will never get my head around the attraction to the monstrosities that are big gawdy cases. Sure looks cool now... but in 2 yrs you'll a sick looking slug of a machine.
so dumb.
@marsel OEM's are for system builders, you can indeed use them on a new built system, even if you keep it. The catch is it will always be a fresh install and any support you get has to come from the original system builder which in this case would be you, not microsoft.
If microsoft was so uptight about their oems anyway, they wouldnt let newegg sell them to whoever they want.
That is possibly the most hideous thing I've seen...I think I just got eye raped by it...
Will this run Eudora? I gotta have my e-mail.
Why would any self respecting PC gamer buy this instead of self building? Madness!
@mojo8472
Because, some of them have more money than time.
@Firewave
$500 premium for 2 hours build time?
@mojo8472 people with more money than time have better taste then this...(i would hope)
Cheesy PR.
$1799 CAD? Isn't that a fair bit less than $1999 (US I assume)?
@aeth
No wait, I see.
run John Connor, run.
@refink
why? is the terminator around? somewhere, I cant see him!
hey ACER ill give you 200 for just the case but thats it. my asus 7700 is getting a little long in the tooth. also can you make it not orange, thanks.
@angelusp
I just want the case how much does that cost?
That is one sexy machine, inside and out.
Yikes! What did they do? The old one looked sooo much cooler

Sayin...
@Frankenstein Black
That one reminds me of the foot unit of the movie Iron Man's armor... :D
What a gaudy case.
@PlatinumSkeet : That case is a "hot mess".
@angelusp: i bet they give one away on the show
I see an Alienware vs Acer Aspire "Predator" fight coming soon.
@JStar
haha +1
@skyblaze I see you caught on to that LOL
