No flash player streaming in the article??
@Plazmic Flame Nice lineup...WTF? Nothing but an apple circle jerk here. Move along.
Thank You Engadget
@gumbottoms And thank you for getting it in RSS in a timely fashion - awesome! :)
Black Magic © Lord Vader
Woohoo!
apple, apple, .... bla, bla
@groinger too much apple stuff
@groinger
In an hour long podcast, Apple amounts to about 10 minutes of it...
I'm diggin' the BlackBerry BlackBoard! That was a good idea!
Did Ashton hack a Gibson yet,to proof that he is a g33k?
LOL, I haven't laughed this much listening to an Engadget podcast since... ever. The Ashton challenge part was hilarious.
Love the podcast. "Crippling addiction to knowledge" had me laughing out loud.
BTW, I'm looking at my Kindle 2 right now and it has a row of buttons dedicated to numbers. But some pretty common punctuation (comma for instance) is buried in the symbol menu.
great intro music
Truly epic... only problem is... it was too short :'(
A whole hour and you didn't channel Steve even once? Come on, that's the only reason I listen to it.
@Rgelb
Actually Josh did channel him. Towards the end.
Either way, pretty funny. Not as much tech talk as i'm used to hearing, but the Challenge stuff was comedy gold.
Does anyone know what the name of the player they're using for the podcast?
Jeez Nilay, worse than usual this go around -.-
Pointless arguments for a blackpad followed by a 60 second solo rant on apple products.
Paul makes a comparison and you disregard it, saying "Apples to Apples".... Lmao. That pretty much sums up your perspective on tech.
otherwise a funny podcast so far.
this latest podcast was a great introduction to engadget 'casts. perhaps not always on topic, but hilariously engaging nonetheless. i'll be sure to tune in for more tech and random talk you lads put together. cheers from melbourne.
@darsk If this was the first engadget podcast you've listened to you should check out episode 197. They're all good, but that one is particularly hilarious. Here's the link:
http://www.engadget.com/2010/05/22/engadget-podcast-197-05-22-2010/
@MGDdrinker
on it! cheers for the heads up :)
@darsk What did you think of 197? I gave it another listen to. I was wrong to describe it as hilarious, it definitely has some hilarious parts but it also has some great discussion of the evo4G, Froyo, and Google TV. But I also enjoyed that podcast cause it was the first to have the three engadget classic guys Josh, Nilay, Paul; along with Chris Ziegler from engadget mobile podcast and Ben Drawbaugh from engadgetHD podcast. So I'm curious if a person new the engadget podcasts enjoyed it, or if you had to already be familiar with the personalities on the show to think it was the greatest podcast in the history podcasts.
What's the name of the intro/outro song on this podcast?
@aforty Wicked Game (Chris Isaak 8-bit cover). Look it up on YT.
@aforty I can never tell if people are serious when they ask about the music. Everyengadget podcast post has a link to when they got the music from. It lists Hosts, Producer, Music. But I can see how you could just overlook it, I do that all the time.
@lordazazel Thanks!
@MGDdrinker No I was being dead serious... Sorry, I skimmed the post above before asking my question but you're right, it's there. =X
@aforty By the way, nice avatar, Love Zero Punctuation
Blackboard isn't a good name for RIM tablet, as it is a portal that many Universities use for posting grades, class info, etc.
This is the first podcast I had listened to and I loved it. When does the next come out??
I have a question for the engadget podcaster, now when the iPad has been out a couple of month what do you use it for. Has it replaced your laptop/notbook or phone or is it sitting alone in a corner?
