Um still not showing up in the RSS after a few hours.
Not showing in iTunes either.
Not showing on Zune.
Come Engadget every every other week there's an issue with the podcasts.
Thank you Engadget. I love all your Classic and Mobile Podcasts.
Cheers!
I've decided they post all the Engadget podcasts days before things show up in feeds to annoy obsessive compulsives who want to make sure things happen as they should with their feed readers.
My reader shows two 50 episodes,what the hell is wrong??!!!
Two days and STILL no update come on...
@LOVEoo Sorry! What's not working for you? Should've been fixed up on Sunday.
@Chris Ziegler The aac feed's been updated, but the vanilla mp3 feed still only has episode 49 as the most recent one.
@Chris Ziegler The mp3 RSS feed is still broken.
@mmaestro Ahh. Fixed!
@Chris Ziegler Thanks muchly. Was driving home from work today and ran out of podcasts on my phone. Was very frustrating to know there was one waiting but not auto-downloaded. Won't happen tomorrow.
@Chris Ziegler Thanks!
@Chris Ziegler
Zune feed wasn't working but 9pm PST its up now probably a few hours ago.
In reply to the question about AMOLED degradation:
It's very true, but I think calling it "degradation" is a little drastic, it's more like a form of burn in. I've had my nexus one since june, and there is now a barely noticeable afterimage of the notification bar on the top of the screen... as long as there's something bright white and you're looking for it. It's exactly like with plasmas, where the phosphors wear unevenly when there's something bright and white, like the notification bar.
Also to fix the robot voice unplug and plug in your mic. If it's the same kind of mic they have on TWIT they had problems with that too.
I am listening to the podcast as I type this. Coincidentally I just noticed burn-in on my Nexus One's screen last night.
You can only see it under certain circumstances - I have to use low backlight and then rotate the phone when using the browser (for instance), so that the status bar moves. Then you can see a burned in signal strength icon and the (normal) top of the display is slightly darker than the rest of the screen.
I think I'll be avoiding (AM)OLED the next time. Still though, you can't see the burn-in under normal circumstances, so it doesn't bother me too much.
I'd be happy to provide pictures.
@csoren I'd like to see pics
@MGDdrinker I had already put some up, but forgot to update the comments here. Here they are http://picasaweb.google.com/csoren/NexusOneDisplayBurnIn#
