NEC's Resonantware

They're not planning to actually put any of these into production, but NEC has added some new items to their line of
"Resonantware" concept-devices. Among them (pictured above from left to right):

  • The "tag", a flexible cellphone that can wrap around your arm or change shape depending on its function.

  • The "flacon", a virtual bottle for storing digital photos.

  • The "gumi" (who's naming these things?), a wearable RFID chip that "hold the usage rights to images and music
    available on the network" (they're also edible).
