Laptop Magazine put several ruggedized laptops through a torture test that included freezing them, putting them through a simulated rainstorm, baking them for an hour, dropping them, and found that Panasonic's Toughbook CF-29 that made it through (another one of the laptops in this line was used by a soldier in Iraq to
stop a bullet during a firefight).
