Speed your trip and pay by cellphone

East Japan Railway says that next year they're going to start letting passengers pay for tickets by just swiping their cellphones over electronic readers at ticket gates. The phones themselves have to be equipped with special integrated circuit chips, but DoCoMo is already working on putting that into its phones.
