Amoi wants to make it in America

We'd never heard of them before but little-known Chinese cellphone manufacturer Amoi (which implausible as it sounds is a shortened version of "avec moi") have opened up an office in California and have set their sites on the US with their new A90 handset, which just received approval from the FCC to be sold in this country. The phone itself is no great shakes, but we'll be very interested to see whether they're able to get any interest in their phones from the carriers here.
