PSP vs. DS

Sam Gibson over at Ferrago has some first impressions of both the PlayStation Portable and the Nintendo DS. He isn't quite as down on the DS's prospects as the rest of us are, saying that despite it being an ugly duckling (to put it kindly!), that Nintendo's portable console has a few things going for it, like that it'll cost a lot less than the PSP,
it's backwards-compatible with the Game Boy Advance, and that Nintendo is willing to experiment with all sorts of weird attachments and add-ons.
