You'd think that considering that for the past six months AT&T Wireless has lost more customers and received more complaints than any other cellular carrier you wouldn't willing associate yourselves with the brand name, but after hinting about it a few months back, AT&T confirms that once AT&T Wireless has been swallowed up by Cingular they'll be taking advantage of the unused name and launching a brand new wireless service. Even more confusingly, AT&T announced that they'll be leasing capacity on Sprint's network, so that anyone who is an AT&T
Wireless customer now won't be able to use their current cellphone with the new AT&T Wireless (the networks are incompatible).
