Nextel's new Motorola i830

You can always count on dependable old Nextel to offer the ugliest, clunkiest phones of any of the carriers, and rather than rock the boat just a little bit, their latest strategy seems to be to take those same ugly phones and make them smaller rather than nicer. Their newest offering is the Motorola i830, which is supposed to be the smallest walkie-talkie phone you can buy in the States (a dubious distinction if there ever was one). It actually looks a little better than the average Nextel phone on the outside (though we're not sure who told them that bronze was a hip color),
but when you open it up you'll know exactly what we're talking about. And even more frustrating, the i830 costs a whopping $299.99 with a two-year contract, a price which wouldn't seem so bad if it came with a built-in digital camera or Bluetooth.
