Apple and BMW play nice

So we're not sure how excited to get about this, but supposedly Apple and BMW have teamed up on a new audio adapter that would connect an iPod to a BMW's car stereo system. Now, this doesn't seem to be anything like some of the do-it-yourself console replacements that people have been showing off but rather is something more like the
iceLink, which mounts somewhere on the console and connects to the stereo system. Since BMW is in on it this time there will be more direct integration with the stereo system, as well as steering wheel-mounted controls. Before everyone starts drooling, the picture isn't real.  But it'd be nice if that's how it turned out.
