Price of DVD burners to plummet

If you're thinking of springing for a DVD recorder anytime soon, wait. Prices are supposed to plummet as much as 50%
later this year as Taiwanese manufacturers like BenQ and LiteOn flood the market with drives. They don't say whether the price drop covers standalone DVD recorders, too, but those things could also become dangerously affordable very soon.
