Bluetooth Lojack
Researchers at Leeds have developed yet another "promising" application for Bluetooth that will never ever
ever be used to invade privacy, they cross their hearts and hope to die. It's a homing system that allows Bluetooth-enabled devices to be tracked and pinpointed to within a couple of meters using a mesh of other Bluetooth devices to determine location. Which could prove very useful for finding the three or four stolen Bluetooth devices each year. Did we just say that?
