Tablet PCs to get cheaper?

There are a million reasons why Tablet PCs have been in the doghouse saleswise, but probably not the least of them is that instead of encouraging manufacturers to build Tablet PCs by charging them  less for the Tablet PC
operating system than they do for regular versions of Windows XP, they're actually charging more for it. Anyway,
supposedly Bill Gates was overheard talking about how they were going to do something about this and drop the price to make of Windows XP Tablet PC Edition to make it more attractive to manufacturers and eventually more affordable for consumers.
