We're still not sure why…

So there's this guy in Japan who really wanted to expand the storage capacity of his phone, which only takes RS-MMC
(reduced size MMC, a variant of MMC) cards. So he finds a way to fit all his junk in there by cutting up the internal chassis to physically fit the full-size 1GB MMC, and then by pulling his SIM chip right out of its plastic carrier.
Sure, it's not the greatest hack we've ever seen, but it took guts!
