Resident Evil's promo cellphone virus

In a totally unbrilliant case of taking this whole viral marketing thing a little too far, marketing firm CE Europe thought that sending people text messages that read, "Outbreak: I'm infecting you with t-virus, my code is ******. Forward this to 60022 to get your own code and chance to win prizes.
More at t-virus.co.uk." was a good idea. Turns out they were trying to promote the impending release of the new Resident Evil movie, but the result was a lot of freaked out people who might have been hearing lately about how viruses were starting to show up in cellphones. Yeah, it's pretty obvious when you read the whole message that it's basically spam, but you know how these things work.
