American McGee's Scrapland demo comes out of nowhere

We weren't aware that Messr. McGee was this far along on his latest forray into computer gaming. The man with a trademarked name has cooked up a new demo of his team's action shooter, Scrapland. The game's premise is Matrix-like,
giving you the chance to jack into a computer and play one of fifteen characters, all with their own special abilities.
You do some of the action on foot and some in a vehicle. It looks like an amusing title, and if it ends up as good as McGee's Alice, then you won't hear (m)any complaints from us.
