Dell Axim X50 delayed to November?
Internal documents digging at the FCC has uncovered that Dell requested confidentiality for their new Axim X50 Pocket PC product photos and manual until November 8, a pretty good indication that they won't introduce this until sometime after then. The confidentiality was originally to be lifted 6 weeks earlier, on September 24. The X50 Pocket PC (possible picture at right) whets our geek appetite with its VGA resolution LCD screen, built-in Bluetooth and WiFi, and support for both Compact Flash and SD digital memory, and better yet, Duncan at FirstLoox also discovered that the X50 also has a X50v model (does that mean "X50 Voice", a Dell Smartphone perhaps? Nah,
probably not.) and will support Bluetooth version 1.2. At least it looks like Dell will have this available in time for the Christmas shopping season.
