An Apple a day keeps the virus away

Telecom giant
AT&T is reportedly evaluating Linux and Apple systems as a possible replacement for their current Microsoft Windows infrastructure.

While this would be HUGE if it happened, it might not be the best thing for Mac lovers. One of the reasons the Mac OS
has been mostly immune to the recent surge of malicious attacks, worms, malware and other nasties, is that there isn't any significant payoff in bringing less than 5% of the worlds computers to a crippled halt. AT&T has some 70,000 computers in circulation all by itself. All of a sudden the Mac OS doesn't look to shabby to a bored teenage script kiddy in Taiwan.
