Power Mac G5 gets single CPU 1.8GHz model, Xserve RAID gets a bump

In addition to today's iBook updates, Apple's also announced a single 1.8GHz CPU version of their Power Mac at the bargain basement price of $1,500, straight up. This adds to their lineup of dual 2.5GHz, dual 2.0GHz, and dual 1.8GHz boxes, but otherwise all have the same great fixins.
The Apple Xserve RAID SAN devices system (we won't blame you if you don't know ore care about this one) has also gotten an update, bumped to a maximum capacity of 5.6TB,
with systems starting for as little as $6,000. Not a bad day for the Apple crew, if one might say so.
