MobileLocate: Your boss is watching you

The makers of ChildLocate, the wireless child locator service being slowly adopted by school and daycare centers, have expanded their business so that your boss can keep an eye on you during the day.  A web interface allows employers to see where their employees are,
relaying that information via SMS to phones, so that they can send out communications to employees via SMS (i.e. "Get back to work, you lazy doormats!").  We're trying to see both sides of this technology – the needs of the employer to keep tabs, the desire of the employee to have some privacy – and we guess it would have to be a situational thing.  For instance, we'd love to be able to tell that UPS phone operator that her driver is actually eating a Big Mac in Paramus when he should be delivering our new toys.  On the other hand, finding out that your "at lunch"
power VP is actually at a therapist discussing mommy's lost love might not be something you want to know.
