White Box Robotics 912 do-it-yourself robot kits

Rather than buy an out-of-the-box robot, you could, and perhaps should, get the White Box Robotics 912.  While it's a close-to-complete robotic system with a GUI-based control application, it doesn't work out-of-the-box.  It's up to you, the robot hobbyist, to customize the 912 as you see fit, assuring that every one is as unique as a Cabbage Patch Kid.  Available are the 912 MP3 version that includes a DVD-ROM and 5.5-inch screen, and the HMV version that looks more like a military bomb squad device.  Upgrade and h@x0r opportunities are virtually endless for this robot.  Get to work, those of you with the time to delve into robotics.  We're jealous.
