Pioneer's corny Blu-ray disc

Maybe we shouldn't feel too surprised since we already have
CD-Rs made out of corn (though now we do feel liberated from the burden of making the obvious jokes since they we already made them months ago), but Pioneer says they're coming out with a Blu-ray disc made from corn starch. And definitely meeting our eco-concerns, they say they're able to squeeze as many ten discs from a single ear of corn.
