San Andreas defeats Prisoner of Azkaban, no contest

In its opening week of distribution, San Andreas grossed more than $44 million in the UK,
selling over 677,000 units. The game also took down reigning UK champ, Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban, to become the highest grossing form of entertainment media in an opening weekend. These figures seem to suggest that the industry's crossover into leading the mainstream is now complete. Next up, Halo 2.
