Networked purse that reminds you to grab an umbrella

Hopefully you'll forgive us all the attention we've been paying to all the weird concept gadgets that have been spilling out of the MIT Media Lab (the problem is that that's mainly all they do there is come up with concepts for crazy stuff), but check out this prototype for a networked purse one of the grad students there made that comes with special electronic sensors sewn into it that can check the weather, and if it's raining, automatically remind you to grab an umbrella before you leave the house. Before you get too excited, there are no plans to ever commercialize this.
