Problems with Apple's 23-inch Cinema Display?

It appears that a larger-than-normal number of 23-inch Cinema Displays are shipping with faulty  LCD panels.
The defective screens are exhibiting the same "pink screen" problem that plagued the Powerbook G3 line. Affected screens display a faint pinkish hue that can't be removed via calibration, and the Inq reports that there are at more than a few people who dropped two grand on one of these who aren't very happy right now.

UPDATE: Some people have reported seeing a different image than the one we posted, which is of Apple's 23-inch Cinema Display. We're experiencing some wonkiness with the server right now, and so on some posts it's pulling up pics with similar ALT tags. We're working on it.
