Gran Turismo delayed, what else is new?

We thought we'd sit on this news for a day or so, fearing that we might put a damper on your weekend plans. But it's only right that we inform you of yet another delay in the unending saga that is Gran Turismo 4. Yes, Sony recently threw a high profile party to celebrate the game's completion, but it seems that the confetti flew a bit early, as the highly touted racer was yanked back into the lab to fix unfinished errors. As is, the Japanese release has been pushed back until December 28, likely pointing to a 2005 US launch—the European version has already succumb to that inevitability. As the cycle of hype and disappointment continues to escalate, how will Gran Turismo 4 hold up when it finally does hit the streets?
