You'll be able to add WiFi to the Rio Chroma

We just got a few more details about the new Rio Chroma. Sources we've spoken to say that Rio's new 20GB MP3 player with a color screen has been postponed and might not be coming out anytime soon. Potential reason for the holdup: the Chroma's SD memory card slot (which is for transferring files over from a digital camera) will also support SDIO, which means you'll be able to add a WiFi SD
expansion card and wirelessly sync the player with your PC (though synching 20GB would probably take a long time) or stream audio to over parts of your house over your wireless network. The speculation is that there are some problems related to getting the drivers and everything sorted out so that adding WiFi to the Chroma will actually work. We'll keep you posted.
