Texas Instruments' 5GB portable media player reference design

They won't actually be manufacturing these themselves (which is probably a good thing given the mock-up pictured at right), but Texas Instruments has been showing off a reference design for a new 5GB portable media player that sports a color screen for viewing digital photos, USB host capabilities (so you could potentially copy files between players,
though we're sure this feature will somehow end up accidentally getting "left out"), a built-in FM tuner, and that would be able to playback MPEG-4 video files in addition to MP3 and WMA audio files. Now all they've got to do is find somebody who wants to build 'em (and also make 'em look good).
