Nintendo goes Hollywood!

Tired of licensing its IPs to be butchered by the hands of Hollywood, Nintendo has decided to take control of its own destiny.  That's right, the gaming mogul has made it official: Nintendo is going Hollywood.

The company plans to launch its own production company, which will begin work immediately asNintendo's first animated feature is due out in 2006.  Details about the film are virtually nonexistent, but Yamauchi did suggest he wanted to focus on classical Japanese poetry...
