Metal Gear Solid, the movie?

Apparently, Hollywood producers are dying to get their hands on the rights to the MGS license.  And apparently,
Kojima could be ready to sell.  In a recent interview with Variety, the MGS "godfather" discussed the parameters of a film adaptation.  It's also obvious that the MGS series has always drawn inspiration from over-the-top action flicks—why not pull a reverse?  Not to mention, Snake Eater featured a bunch of Hollywood talent.  So we know that Kojima has the right kind of connections, now it's just a matter of seeing the right kind of money...
