The Bluetooth-texting Christmas tree
O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree/how are thy leaves receive BT texts! So it doesn't rhyme (we never said we're holiday songsters), but you get the idea: at London's Tate Britain gallery Richard Wentworth has decorated a rather large Norway spruce with broken plates and lightbulbs which collect "presents" (movies, camphone pics, texts, etc.) via Bluetooth, which will be "unwrapped" on Christmas day. Maybe it's slightly less elegant than
Swarovski's SMS chandelier, but hey, 'tis the season.
