Winning Eleven 8 bound for US!

Soccer fans rejoice!  Konami has confirmed that the latest installment in its critically acclaimed Winning Eleven series is headed to the US—and for the first time on Xbox!  This comes as little surprise though, seeing that Pro Evolution Soccer 4 (same game, different name) was recently released for the Xbox in Europe.

The soccer sim features 136 club teams, 57 national teams, & 4,500 photo-realistic players.  And Konami has chosen "Steady" Eddie Pope as the cover athlete.  Winning Eleven 8 is due out this coming spring for the PS2,
Xbox, & PC.
