Nintendo bumps up Nintendo DS shipments by 40%
So we can probably officially declare the Nintendo DS to be a hit. They already
sold out their first batch of 500,000 within a week after the new portable game console went on sale on November 21st, now Nintendo says that total sales have already hit 700,000 and that at the moment there is definitely a shortage right now. But don't let yourself get gouged on eBay
(though feel free to engage in the gouging yourself, you capitalist bastards); Nintendo is promising to bump up the number of total shipments to the States by 40% and pump as many 1.4 million of these badboys into stores before the end of the year.
