Hitachi e-paper by 2006?

Hype or holy grail, whatever you want to call e-paper,
anyone who's making promises to get it to us by 2006 stands to be very, very rich (should they actually get the job done, of course). But we have to be a little skeptical about what Hitachi says they'll be able to deliver within the next two years, since their 3mm-thick "e-paper" displays hardly look like they're rollable or cheap.
