But will your insurance cover it? Game Boys as good as tranquilizers

A New Jersey anesthesiologist has found that letting kids play with a Game Boy prior to surgery can soothe them so much that they can skip pre-surgery tranquilizers. Traditionally, doctors have tried to calm kids down with teddy bears, games, and that old standby, Mom. But the Game Boy has them all beat (sorry, Mom), relaxing the kids completely.
No word on which games doctors are handing the kids, but we're assuming it's something mellow like Donkey Kong Country,
rather than an actioner like Tony Hawk's Underground 2.
